Police said a second person has been arrested in connection to an armed robbery reported at a Shelton gas station earlier this year.

SHELTON, CT — A second person has been arrested in connection to an armed robbery reported at a Shelton gas station in March, according to the Shelton Police Department.
In a news release, Shelton Police Sgt. Colin Bitsco said detectives served an active arrest warrant for Collin Addiss, 30, at Derby Superior Court on Tuesday, which included charges of illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle and criminal possession of a firearm.
According to Bitsco, an armed robbery involving a shotgun was reported March 11 at a Shell gas station on Bridgeport Avenue.

An investigation revealed Steve Nakhoune, 34, arrived in a stolen pickup truck traveling with a Toyota Camry driven by Addiss, according to Bitsco.
According to Bitsco, Nakhoune is accused of retrieving a sawed-off shotgun from the Toyota, entering the store, pointing it at the cashier, demanding money and forcing the cashier to the ground before fleeing.

Detectives later secured arrest warrants for Nakhoune and Addiss, Bitsco said.
Bitsco said both men are accused of taking part in "a multi-state crime spree involving larcenies, burglaries, robberies and police pursuits across Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont and New Hampshire" following the incident in Shelton.
Nakhoune was arrested in Massachusetts and extradited back to Connecticut in March, where he remains held on a $750,000 bond, according to police.
