Raven is a brown male standard poodle, with a few white hairs on his back. It’s suspected that he was stolen, so it’s unclear if he will be wearing a collar and leash. Those items are missing with him. He is microchipped and not yet neutered (upon veterinary recommendation).

Raven is friendly with children and other dogs. He is safe to approach. Local residents are asked to keep an eye out for Raven and contact Donna Neff, local police and/or animal control immediately if spotted. Volunteers who are available to help search for Raven today can coordinate with the search team at Wellington Restaurant, 51 Huntington St, Shelton, CT 06484. Fliers are also available to be picked up for posting.

There is currently a $500 reward for Raven’s safe return. Anyone who has him can drop him off at Wellington Restaurant, the Shelton Animal Shelter, or the Shelton Police station, no questions asked, and claim their reward.

Donna Neff, Raven’s trainer says, “Raven has already started work with the woman he will assist and live with. She is a disabled student at Southern Connecticut State University. He has four to six months of training to go, most of which will be spent with his team partner at SCSU.” There is great urgency to reunite Raven with his handler and team partner. She adds, “I’d like to thank the Shelton community, animal control and police for the outpouring of support so far, and for their continued assistance in Raven’s search.”

Please report all sightings directly to Neff at 407-748-9304.
