Sewer Work Begins In Shelton Nov. 15
The project along Bridgeport Avenue is expected to run through the end of the year.
SHELTON, CT — Sanitary sewer work on Bridgeport Avenue in Shelton is scheduled to begin on Nov. 15, according the city's Water Pollution Control Authority.
The work, which officials said is "essential to Shelton's infrastructure," is expected to last through Dec. 31, weather permitting.
"The scope of work is from Nells Rock Road at Bridgeport Avenue, along Old Bridgeport Avenue to Cots Street, back onto Bridgeport Avenue, continuing to the intersection of John Street where it will end," officials said in a statement.

Area home and businessowners will be notified when they need to limit waste water between a specific span of hours.
Additionally, traffic in the construction zone may initially be diverted at the Nells Rock Road/Bridgeport Avenue intersection, and there may be a lane closure north of Cots Street on Bridgeport Avenue to John Street.
