Shelton-based NewNet Announces New Carrier Customer

Shelton-based NewNet Communication Technologies, which recently , has announced that Skyband, one of the most prominent wireless service providers in Saudi Arabia, is now using NewNet’s TraxcomSecure portfolio of dial, IP and mobile payment products.

In a press release NewNet, with offices at 2 Trap Falls Road, suite 504, claims that with its mobile payments processing technology, Skyband gains improved security for mobile payments for its customers in the Middle East.

“We believe that the efficiency, security, and performance offered by NewNet’s market leading payment processing systems will enable us to deliver advanced and superior m-commerce and e-commerce payment services through our network,” said Osman Oueida, executive vice president at Skyband. “This upgrade complements our growth objectives to offer our service capabilities in the broader Middle East market, including our near field communications initiatives.”

NewNet will be showcasing and demonstrating its mobile payment solutions at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, February 27 to March 1.
