Shelton Elementary School Student Left At Wrong Bus Stop: Report
The 5-year-old, who is a student at Elizabeth Shelton Elementary School, reportedly was let out on Howe Avenue, two stops from his home.
SHELTON, CT — A 5-year-old Elizabeth Shelton Elementary School student was let off his bus at the wrong stop on Howe Avenue in Shelton last week, and his mother has not received much of an explanation for the mishap, reported Fox61.
Elizabeth Cameron scrambled to find her son on Thursday afternoon, the second day of school, but fortunately a neighbor spotted the kindergartener after the incident and brought him home.
Cameron has not received much information from district officials about the incident, and whether the bus driver was disciplined is not known. Cameron told the TV station that she saw the driver behind the wheel of a bus the next day.

Patch reached out to Schools Superintendent Ken Saranich, and the city's school transportation department, for comment, but did not immediately receive a reply.
The first couple of days of school were a bit rough for Shelton Public Schools' transportation system, with parents reporting late and overcrowded buses, and some students not wearing masks.
