Shelton Football Rallies Past Sheehan, 24-17
Gaels outscore Titans 17-0 in second half to erase a 17-7 halftime deficit

Gary Thompson scored on a 1-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter as the Shelton football team rallied from a 10-point halftime deficit to defeat Sheehan 24-17 on Friday night.
The Gaels, who improved to 2-0, trailed 17-7 at the half, but outscored the Titans 17-0 in the second half.
In the third quarter, Connor O'Brien scored on a 25-yard TD run and Ed Groth booted a 28-yard field goal to get the Gaels even.

O'Brien, who rushed for 240 yards, ripped off an 80-yard TD scamper in the first quarter to give Shelton a 7-0 lead, but Sheehan (1-1) responded with the next 17 points.
Shelton quarterback Frank Camerino added 160 yards on the ground.
