Shelton Library Opens Its Own Book Store: Report
The Plumb Memorial Library is now selling books daily.
SHELTON, CT — Building on the success of its two book sales per year, Shelton's Plumb Memorial Library is now selling books daily, reported the Shelton Herald.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the library never held its two book sales per year in 2020 or 2021, and those donated books are now the inventory for the daily book sale, located in the large reading room.
Sponsored by the Friends of the Shelton Libraries, the new library book store is helping the library to clear out some of its overstock, and offer patrons a chance to shop for books on a regular basis.
