Shelton Man Accused of Stalking Former Companion in Milford While Intoxicated
Milford police say the man was more than three times the legal limit.

Milford police say Jeffrey Scott, 166 Prospect Avenue in Shelton, is accused of stalking his former companion while he was allegedly intoxicated.
Police said they received a complaint early Monday morning that Scott allegedly violated a court issued protective order by contacting his estranged spouse at her Milford residence.
According to the estranged spouse, Scott has been driving by her home and parking in front of her house, police said.

A short time late police observed Scott’s vehicle traveling on the Boston Post Road in the vicinity of his estranged spouse’s home, police said.
A motor vehicle stop was conducted and Scott was found to be driving while intoxicated, police said. When question by the police, Scott indicated he was on his way to his wife’s house. Subsequent his arrest an intoxilyzer test indicate Scott had an elevated blood alcohol content of more than three times the limit, police said.

Scott was charged with driving while intoxicated, violation of a protective order, and first-degree stalking. He was held in lieu of $10,500.
