Shelton Man Arrested In Fatal Hit-And-Run Crash: Police

The crash occurred in May of last year, killing 54-year-old Teresa Glossy.

SHELTON, CT — A 25-year-old Shelton man has been arrested on motor vehicle charges in connection with the fatal hit-and-run crash last May that killed 54-year-old Teresa Glossy, according to police.

In addition to striking Glossy with his vehicle at the intersection of Howe Avenue and Hill Street and driving off, William Donofrio also allegedly "cleaned and hid the vehicle immediately after the accident," wrote Detective Richard Bango in a Facebook post.

He was released after posting a $15,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Derby Superior Court on March 17.
