Shelton Resident Plays Key Role in Boys & Girls Club Winning National Environmental Award


The Wakeman Boys & Girls Club Smilow-Burroughs Clubhouse has been honored as a “LEED platinum” building, the highest award offered by the U.S. Green Building Council, demonstrating Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). The Smilow-Burroughs Clubhouse is the first Boys & Girls Club to receive this prestigious award.
