Shelton School Cafeteria Workers Upset Over Health Care Change
Many of the cafeteria workers are upset over a change in health insurance.

SHELTON, CT — Several Shelton Public School cafeteria workers are upset that they will have to take an effective pay cut due to the higher cost of insurance since the district switched food service providers.
Whitsons New England Inc. took over the contract from Sodexo in an effort to save the school system money, according to the Connecticut Post.
One worker said the changes amount to a 10 to 12 percent pay cut.
