The Shelton baseball team plays the first of its nine preseason scrimmages at home against Ansonia on Thursday (4 p.m.).  The Gaels host Bridgeport Central on Saturday (11 a.m.),  then have practice games every day next week. The regular season begins April 6 at home against Xavier.
