Shelton's Center Stage Theatre Raises $50,000

SHELTON, CT - Center Stage Theatre's 2016 fundraising efforts have paid off to the tune of about $50,000 for the non-profit entertainment and educational space.

According to a post on its Facebook page, the organization received more than 500 donations this month, which helped its "Great Give" campaign surpass its goal.

"In the meantime, we can't thank everyone enough - our staff, board members, parents, volunteers, subscribers, and beyond!" officials wrote in a statement. "Together, we build community one performance (and Great Give) at a time."
