Stephen Noga, age 91, beloved husband of Dorothy Richardson Noga, died
peacefully, surrounded by his family on October 25, 2022 at the Vitas
Hospice of St. Mary’s Hospital, Waterbury. Born in Ansonia on January
7, 1931, he was the son of the late Peter and Bessie Juachanka Noga. Mr.
Noga was a proud U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and worked as a
meat cutter & butcher for the United Food & Commercial Worker’s
Union, Local 371, until the time of his retirement. In adddition to his
wife of 70 years, he is survived by his devoted children, Richard Noga
of TN, Susan (James) LaRovera of Waterbury and Kenneth (Stacy) Noga of
Meriden; nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; as well as
nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Laurence Noga;
sisters, Julia Schaeffer, Rose McCormick and Mary Hunter; brothers, Sam,
Frank, Wasil, Peter and John Noga; and daughter-in-laws, Jean and Susan
Noga. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, October 29, 2022
at 10:30 AM in the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue,
Ansonia. Interment with Military Honors will directly follow in Pine
Grove Cemetery, Ansonia. Family and friends may call at the funeral
home on Saturday morning from 9:00 to 10:30 AM, prior to the service.
