ANSONIA, CT — Two people were arrested after a two-year-old boy was found on top of a house roof Wednesday morning, according to police.

The toddler was found on the roof of 681 Main St. about 30 feet above the ground, police said. Officer Christopher Kelley talked to the child and convinced him not to move while Sgt. Christopher Flynn and Officer Peter Lovermi III forced entry into the residence to get access to the roof.

The child's father David Hustek, 23, and the child's aunt Sarah Barker, 20, were found inside the house and had been sleeping, police said.
