Updated Weekend Weather Forecast for Shelton and Derby
The latest details on the weekend forecast including when we're most likely to see thunderstorms and rain.

The weekend forecast for Connecticut looks even better than it did yesterday. There is still a chance of thunderstorms but the odds have decreased significantly except for late Sunday.
All-in-all there will be plenty of sunshine this weekend, and we’re not coming close to the 100-degree-plus heat we dealt with last weekend.
Temperatures will be in the mid 80s for most of this weekend and the greatest chance for showers and storms is actually late Sunday possibly around midnight until 5 a.m. Monday, according to the National Weather Service. We do need the rain as drought conditions continue in Connecticut, especially in the northern part of the state.
