Bears on a Porch the Latest in a Series of Simsbury Sightings
Several bear sightings have been reported in Simsbury already this spring.

SIMSBURY, CT – Bears on a back porch sniffing a recycling bin is the most animated in a string of black bear sightings in town this spring, police said Monday.
A resident of Flintrock Ridge in Simsbury sent images of the bears' antics to NBC Connecticut. Check them out here.
Simsbury gets its share of bear sightings. From from May 20, 2016 to May 17, 2017, there have been 277, according to the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.
