The Simsbury Land Trust is celebrating its 50th Anniversary. Since its founding in 1976, the Land Trust’s mission has been to protect the scenic vistas, geological features, and farmland that define Simsbury’s character, while supporting healthy habitats for local wildlife and plants.
In celebration of this milestone, the Land Trust will dedicate a White Oak, the state tree, to the Town of Simsbury as a gesture of gratitude for the community’s support of the Land Trust’s conservation efforts over the past five decades. Following the dedication, we invite you to join the Land Trust for a hike and scavenger hunt in Belden Forest led by Susan Masino.
Please join us as we celebrate 50 years of conservation and community partnership.
