Badfish – A Tribute to Sublime, Subliminal Doubt – A Tribute To No Doubt, and Foo Fightaz: The Live Foo Fighters Experience bring a high-energy tribute to the sound, attitude, and raw excitement of the golden era of pop-punk to Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center on Saturday, August 15th.

Badfish – A Tribute to Sublime: The phenomenon known as Sublime, arguably the most energetic, original, and uniquely eclectic band to emerge from any scene, anywhere, ended with the untimely death of lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter Bradly Nowell in May of 1996. But encompassing the scene of place and purpose long associated with Sublime’s music, Badfish – A Tribute to Sublime continues to channel the spirit of Sublime with a fury not felt for some time. What separates Badfish from other tribute bands is they have replicated Sublime’s essence, developing a scene and dedicated following most commonly reserved for label-driven, mainstream acts. Badfish make their mark on the audience by playing with the spirit of Sublime. They perform not as Sublime would have, or did, but as Badfish does.

Subliminal Doubt – A Tribute To No Doubt brings the 90’s and early 2000’s back with a high energy show that pays homage to one of the most iconic female-fronted alternative rock bands of that era. “Fake Gwen” is one of the most recognized Gwen Stefani tribute artists in the US and has cemented a following of her own in the process. Subliminal Doubt performs multiple genres in a single show, covering the punk and reggae infused alternative rock from Tragic Kingdom, to Gwen’s infectious pop music solo hits. The musicians in Subliminal Doubt have been playing together for many years. The on-stage chemistry is tight and engaging, and every musician pays meticulous attention to detail.
