Celebrate Small Town Life at the Gilmore Girlish Day

The Storyteller’s Cottage will host a unique “Gilmore Girlish Day” on Sunday, May 19 from noon to 5:00pm, featuring an array of activities to immerse participants in the small-town charm highlighted in the hit television series, The Gilmore Girls.

Show creator Amy Sherman-Palladino modeled the fictional town of Stars Hollow after quaint New England towns just like Simsbury, and the “Gilmore Girlish Day” will allow fans of the show to share in colorful Connecticut small-town activities including:

1:00 pm … Learn to Write Like Rory: A Memoir and Novel Writing Crash Course with Storyteller’s Cottage Writer-in-Residence C. Flanagan Flynn

2:00 pm … Gilmore Girls Trivia with charming bookish prizes on the line

3:00 pm … Paris Geller’s Craft Corner Guests will design their own show-inspired book tote bags with Storyteller’s Cottage Art Director Heather Murray

4:00 pm … Life and Death Brigade Cocktail Hour
