The fast-casual juice bar opening in Simsbury is owned and operated by health and wellness advocates Dr. Meagen McCusker, MD, MS, FAAD and Dr. Megan Hill, PhD. Dr. McCusker, a dermatologist at Integrated Dermatology of Simsbury, and her stepdaughter Megan, a science professor at Southern Connecticut State University and former health coach, will open the first Clean Juice location in Connecticut, with an aim to promote a healthy lifestyle within the community.

“Clean Juice is a juice bar with a conscience because it’s completely organic,” said Dr. McCusker. “We are excited to offer delicious, all-natural, organic drink and food choices to families with fast-paced lifestyles in our community. Many people feel their food choices get compromised because they don’t have the time to shop or meal plan. Clean Juice provides an opportunity to eat healthfully even when you are on-the-go!”

As the original USDA-certified organic juice bar franchise with nearly 100 open stores nationwide, Clean Juice sources only the highest-quality, premium ingredients for its cold-pressed juices, smoothies, açaí and GreenoaÔ Bowls, toasts, wraps and more. Clean Juice aims to provide the perfect nutrition that comes only from organic food. Made fresh daily, Clean Juice has 10 heavily-dense nutrient cold-pressed juices, which are made non-pasteurized and without heat, resulting in no nutrients being damaged. Also known for its dozens of superfood add-ons, Clean Juice offers fresh, organic spices and whey or hemp protein that can be added to smoothies and juices for added health benefits.

To ensure premium flavor, Clean Juice has a rotating seasonal menu where organic products will be at the ripest. Launching in October, the new Fall Menu features three exclusive products, including a power-packed acai bowl named The Incredi Bowl. Having nearly three times more add-ons than any other bowl, the Incredi Bowl features blue spirulina, a high-protein and antioxidant-rich algae, and is topped with fresh strawberries and white coconut chips showcasing a red, white and blue appearance.

The limited time offering of the Summer Menu features new Organic Combos for guests, including children, who want to make it a meal with a cold-pressed juice and an Organic Wrap or GreenoaÔ Bowl for a discounted amount.
