Clean Up Simsbury, Then Have Coffee With Lawmaker
State Rep. Melissa Osborne, D-Simsbury, is hosting a meet-and-greet to discuss issues over coffee at a local coffee shop Saturday.

SIMSBURY, CT — The town's state representative in Hartford is inviting constituents to have coffee with her and discuss their legislative concerns Saturday.
State Rep. Melissa Osborne, D-Simsbury, is hosting a "Coffee With Rep. Osborne" event Saturday, April 22, at 1 p.m.
Elected last year to her first term, Osborne's district consists solely of the Town of Simsbury.

The informal meet-and-greet will take place at the Lions Den coffee shop, 712 Hopmeadow St., Simsbury.
There, constituents are asked to share their priorities and ask questions about issues of their concern, doing so over a caffeinated beverage.

Osborne said the coffee break is a perfect stop after a morning of cleaning up Simsbury as part of the town's "Community Cleanup Day," in which volunteers will fan out in town and tidy up the community.
That event takes place throughout town from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
