Richard Ferland is a lifelong photographer (travel, outdoor and architectural) and a graduate of Boston University’s Center for Digital Imaging Arts - CDIA.He has extensive experience in China, having lived and worked there for a number of years. This familiarity gives him an insider’s view of the culture, values and sights, which he has documented through the eyes of a photographer. In this program presented at the monthly meeting of the Simsbury Camera Club, he shares his insights on planning a trip to China and what to expect in China for future travelers .The program contains a number of interesting stories – with great supporting images. Richard is currently leading tours to China.
Richard is a National Association of Photoshop Professionals Member (NAPP), a member of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP), and, proudly, a Merrimack Valley Camera Club Member, where he has received numerous awards – both locally and internationally.
