The iconic Oscar Mayer Wienermobile will make a stop in town this week, offering photo opportunities and lunch.

SIMSBURY, CT — If you happen to spot a giant hot dog rolling through the streets of Simsbury this week, there's nothing wrong with you.
That's because the famous Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is scheduled to visit Simsbury on Thursday, March 12.
The iconic vehicle will be stationed at Fitzgerald’s Foods, located at 710 Hopmeadow St.

The event is scheduled to run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m, offering community members an opportunity to see the iconic hot dog-shaped automobile.
The visit provides an occasion for residents to take photographs with the Wienermobile.

Attendees will also have the option to purchase Oscar Mayer hot dogs during the event. Hot dogs will be available for $3 each, or two for $5, with each purchase including a bag of chips.
Bottled water will also be sold for $1.
The event is designed to offer a unique midday stop for those seeking a quick lunch or a memorable photo opportunity.
The Hotdoggers, who operate the Wienermobile, will be present to greet visitors.
