"Focus on Our World" Photography Exhibit at Westminster School

The public is invited to a photography exhibit and opening reception at Westminster School that will feature images from five continents.

A photography exhibit titled “Focus on Our World” that features the work of photographers Dan Mead and Sally Eagle will take place in the Baxter Gallery of Westminster School’s Armour Academic Center Jan. 9 through March 5. The exhibit includes high-impact visual images of wildlife, stunning landscapes and culture scenes from five continents.

Mead and Eagle, who live in Great Barrington, Mass., and travel the globe to take photographs, often exhibit their work in galleries, museums and other educational spaces.

The exhibit is free and open to the public Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

An opening reception will be held Jan. 9 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Baxter Gallery right before a free, public performance by Viva Quetzal, a multicultural musical group, in the school’s Gund Reading Room.

Westminster School is located at 995 Hopmeadow Street in Simsbury. Parking is available in the parking lot adjacent to Armour Academic Center.
