Have Some Coffee With Simsbury Cops Wednesday

The Simsbury PD will be at the local Starbucks on Wednesday for another 'Coffee With A Cop' event that morning.

SIMSBURY, CT — Local police will be hanging out at Starbucks in town on Wednesday morning, with folks invited to have a cup of java with them.

The Simsbury Police Department will be at the Starbucks on 930 Hopmeadow St., Simsbury, for a "Coffee With A Cop" event from 8 to 9 a.m.

There, residents can enjoy free coffee and conversation with a law enforcement representative.

But there will also be an extra special guest on hand, namely, the SPD's beloved police dog "K9 Clifton."

Simsbury's "Coffee With A Cop" is part of a national trend where departments meet with the people they serve in informal, friendly settings to talk about concerns and other issues of the day.
