Hemp Theft Leads to 4 Arrests At Farm In Simsbury

Three Massachusetts men and a juvenile were arrested Sunday, police said.

SIMSBURY, CT — Three men from Massachusetts, plus an unidentified juvenile, were arrested Sunday in connection with the theft of hemp plants from a Simsbury farm.

All four individuals were charged with criminal trespass, criminal mischief, sixth-degree larceny and interfering with an officer, Lt. Frederick Sifodaskalakis said.

The adults have been identified as Eduard Otero-Febo, 20; Jeftian Otero-Febo, 19; and Joel Padilla, 22. Each was released after posting $500 bonds.
