On Friday, November 15, from 5:30-7:30pm, at the Storyteller’s Cottage, artist Robin Towle-Fecso will teach a Fantasy Drawing Class for students ages 10 and older. This first installment of Fantasy Drawing will focus on wizards and castles. Students will learn to draw the fantastical figures they can see in their minds! The next Fantasy Drawing Class, held in December, will focus on fairies and dragons.

Robin Towle-Fecso is a professional artist, illustrator, and graphic designer. She has a Bachelor of Arts in graphic/informational design from Central Connecticut State University and has worked for graphic design agencies creating advertising, website, and print projects for Fortune 100 and 500 companies and for local Connecticut businesses. She is currently a graphic designer and creative partner at Jumpstart and an adjunct graphic design professor at Asnuntuck Community College. In addition to teaching art classes at the Storyteller’s Cottage, she is also available for book cover design consultations and to illustrate manuscripts.

The Storyteller’s Cottage is located in a vintage Victorian house in the center of historic Simsbury, CT, and hosts all manner of immersive literary events throughout the year, including Agatha Christie inspired live murder mystery parties, Great Gatsby themed Jazz Supper Clubs, fascinating close-up illusions at Fine Parlor Magic nights, a Literary Dinner Party series on select evenings at midnight, and more.

The Storyteller's Cottage is located at 750 Hopmeadow Street in Simsbury.
