Mini Maker Faire Comes to the Simsbury Library
Eversource Energy announced that the ibrary will be transformed into a Mini Maker Faire with dozens of creators on Saturday, April 1.
From Eversource Energy: The Simsbury Public Library will be transformed into a Mini Maker Faire where dozens of creators will be showcasing their inventions, skills and talents. You’ll see everything from professional fire jugglers, to live painting demonstrations and even flying drones and Eversource is proud to sponsor this amazing event.“We’re excited because this is a multi-generational event that celebrates science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics,” said Sarah Nielsen, the Executive Director with Simsbury Main Street Partnership, the organization helping the library present the event. “This is a perfect event to come spend the day and meet all the creators.”
While there are Maker Faires originated in San Francisco Bay Area, they are held all over the world. This is the first time the town of Simsbury is offering the event and its happening Saturday, April 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Simsbury Public Library, 725 Hopmeadow St., Simsbury.
