Simsbury Police Charge New Hampshire Man With Sex Assault Of Minor

The arrest was made at a New Hampshire prison this week.

SIMSBURY, CT — A New Hampshire man was arrested and charged this week for sexual assault involving a minor for an incident in Simsbury.

The Simsbury Police Department this week reported David Matthew Eddy, 57, of 15 Liberty St., Manchester, N.H., was charged with risk of injury to a child and fourth-degree sexual assault for alleged sexual contact of a victim less than 16 years old and without consent.

Police said the arrest took place at the Manchester New Hampshire Correctional Facility on Tuesday, Oct. 18, with a court appearance slated for Wednesday, Oct. 19.

Bond was set at $150,000.
