Delve into Hamilton: "Do not throw away your shot” to fully appreciate the brilliant literary devices that make Hamilton’s story so powerful. If you're a fan of the music but haven’t read Ron Chernow’s 800-page biography of Alexander Hamilton, come discuss which elements of the show are actually based on true facts. (Spoiler alert: almost ALL of them!) If you HAVE read the bio, come and discuss whether you agree with the literary license Miranda took in a few key instances. There will also be a discussion about parts of Alexander’s story not covered in the musical to gain a deeper appreciation of America’s “Ten Dollar Founding Father.” (This is the companion event to Introduction to Hamilton) Wednesday November 14th from 7:00-8:30 pm. Cost: $30
