Owner/Chef Anderson Nominated for "Chef of the Year"

The Connecticut Restaurant Association (CRA) gathers once a year to honor the “best of the best” in the Connecticut restaurant scene.

Millwright’s Restaurant & 1680 Tavern Owner/Chef Tyler Anderson is nominated for “Chef of the Year.

Owner/chef Tyler Anderson, a classically trained chef, recent James Beard semi-finalist and participate on several Food Network episodes, draws on a foundation of age-old French cooking techniques supporting historic New England cuisine, such as the practice of roasting vegetables in salt over a wood fire. Pickling, preserving and canning summer’s fresh bounty ensures locally-grown foods for winter’s use and again honors the region’s food practices.
