Pedestrian, 70, Dies After Simsbury Collision Thursday: Police
The Simsbury Police Department Friday confirmed a pedestrian incident involving another vehicle Thursday has turned fatal.

SIMSBURY, CT — Local police Friday afternoon confirmed that a pedestrian-vehicle incident in Simsbury Thursday claimed the life of a 70-year-old man.
According to the Simsbury Police Department, the man killed has been identified as Ramijlal Shrivastava, 70.
Police said Shrivastava was rushed to St. Francis Hospital in Hartford after the 9:47 a.m. incident Thursday and later died due to his injuries.

According to the SPD, officers were called to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Hopmeadow Street (Route 10) and the intersection of Iron Horse/Owens Brook boulevards.
Police said the incident remains under investigation by the North Central Municipal Accident Reconstruction Squad.
