On Wednesday, October 23, from 7:00-8:30pm, Simsbury resident and author Penny Goetjen will celebrate the launch of her latest book, Murder Returns to the Precipice at the Storyteller’s Cottage. Guests can meet the author, enjoy celebratory refreshments, and purchase a signed copy of this brand new book, the third in Penny’s Murder on the Precipice mystery series. This is a free event, and guest can RSVP by emailing Svenja at svenja@storytellerscottage.com or by visiting https://www.storytellerscottage.com/book-online/launch-party-murder-returns-to-precipice

ABOUT THE BOOK: After two years of renovations following extensive hurricane damage, Pennington Point Inn has finally reopened in Maine. Elizabeth Pennington, along with her lover/business partner (and former FBI agent) Kurt Mitchell, is ready for visitors. But nothing can prepare her for a guest’s (apparent) accidental death in the fitness center. "When murder checks in, check out can be deadly!"

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: National award-winning author Penny Goetjen writes murder mysteries where the milieu play as prominent a role as the engaging characters. A self-proclaimed eccentric known for writing late into the night, transfixed by the allure of flickering candlelight, Ms. Goetjen weaves a subtle, unexpected twist into her stories.
