Man Charged with String of Burglaries in Simsbury

A 22-year-old man was served with nine arrest warrants in connection with burglaries in the area of Tarriffville and Deerpark Road.

Simsbury police say they have the man who committed a string of burglaries in town in the area of Tarriffville and Deerpark Road.

Here’s an announcement from town police:

During the months of July, August and September 2014, there were several burglaries and thefts from residences, garages, sheds and a motor vehicle in the area of Main Street in Tariffville and at 1 Deerpark Road in Simsbury.

The Simsbury Police Department investigated each of the crimes and discovered stolen property and evidence. The Suffield Police Department assisted with the investigation after recovering stolen property in Suffield from some of the larcenies in Simsbury.

On October 15, 2014 the Simsbury Police Department served 9 arrest warrants for Gregoire Girard (age 22) of 22 Main Street Extension Apt. A5 in Tariffville, CT for these crimes. Girard was in the custody of the State Judicial Marshals at the time of the warrant service.
