SIMSBURY, CT — Here are the arrest logs for Nov. 8 -Nov. 20, 2023, as provided by the Simsbury Police Department.

Charges are allegations, not convictions.

Nov. 12

William Wesley Wheeler, 31, of Nielson Road, Hartland, was charged with illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs and speeding at 12:07 a.m. He will appear in court Dec. 20.

Nov. 15

Michael L. Woods, 57, of Palm Street, Hartford, was charged with two counts of second-degree failure to appear in court at 11:30 a.m. He was to appear in court Nov. 16.

Nov. 18

Hunter Thomas Smith, 21, of Nalette Drive, Winsted, was charged with evading responsibility for injury/property damage at 2:16 a.m. He will appear in court Dec. 27.

Nov. 20

Paul A. Bellott, 37, of Wells Road, Granby, was charged with illegal operation of a motor vehicle under suspension; traveling unreasonably fast; illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs; and illegal operation of a motor vehicle without minimum insurance at 12:30 a.m. He will appear in court Dec. 27.

Michelle Chase, 55, of Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury, was charged with illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs and failure to drive in the proper lane at 10:02 p.m. She will appear in court Dec. 27.
