Oct. 13

Glenn Anderson Shaw, 60, of Tain Mountain Road, Unionville, was charged with illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs and traffic control signals violations at 1:51 a.m. He will appear in court Nov. 15.

Oct. 14

John Byron Bien, 46, no certain address, was charged with illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs and following too closely at 2:46 a.m. He will appear in court Nov. 15.

Oct. 17

Scott E. Cohen, 37, of Crestview Road, Tariffville, was charged with second-degree breach of peace; second-degree assault; third-degree assault; first-degree unlawful restraint; second-degree suffocation/strangulation; and second-degree physical threatening at 6:30 p.m. He was to appear in court Oct. 18.

Oct. 18

Andrew Stewart Vlach, 19, of Sunset Hill Road, Simsbury, was charged with second-degree breach of peace at 9:11 p.m. He will appear in court Nov. 30.
