Simsbury FD Marks Milestone Moments For Two
The Simsbury Volunteer Fire Department recently pinned one member as a lieutenant and another as a full-fledged firefighter.
SIMSBURY, CT — The local fire department this week celebrated the firefighting accomplishments of two members.
The Simsbury Volunteer Fire Co. hosted a pinning ceremony Wednesday, with family and friends coming together to mark major milestones for both men.
As part of the event, firefighter John Driscoll was promoted to the ranke of lieutenant and he was assigned to the Tarriffville Fire Station.

Meanwhile, firefighter Grant Duford was pinned as a regular member after successfully finishing the requirements of being a probationary firefighter.
