Simsbury Fire Co. Promotes One, Welcomes One

SIMSBURY, CT — The local fire department last week promoted one of its members and welcomed another to its ranks.

The Simsbury Volunteer Fire Co. Dec. 28 hosted a pinning ceremony for Brian Tomaska, who was promoted from firefighter to lieutenant. He is assigned to the West Simsbury station.

In addition, the SVFC pinned firefighter Aiden Brown, who recently completed all of his training requirements before becoming a full-fledged member.

Brown has been assigned to the Tarriffville fire station.
