All Waste will pick up trees on your trash collection day during the week of Jan. 23-27, 2023.

Residents are asked to place trees, free of lights and ornaments, next to their trash barrel by 6 a.m. on their collection day.

Folks should leave their barrels curbside, even if it has been emptied already, until their tree is collected.

Town officials said the barrel will serve as a marker of which hauler should pick up a tree, as this service may not be done by a normal route driver.

To reduce the chance of trees becoming frozen to the ground or buried in snow, residents are asked to refrain from putting a tree out earlier than the night before.

Condominium & Association Residents: They should check with your association or management company, as these collections vary.

Drop-Off: Simsbury residents may also drop off their live trees, free of lights and ornaments, at the Simsbury Landfill and Recycling Center at 66 Wolcott Road during the month of January.

Trees can be dropped off on Wednesdays and Saturdays (8 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and no fee will be charged.

After that time period, disposal will cost $5 per tree.
