Watch: Humorous Video Posted By Simsbury Shows Fallen Officers' Personalities
The video was for a the 'Lip Sync Challenge' a few years ago and features the late Lt. Dustin DeMonte and Sgt. Alex Hamzy.

SIMSBURY, CT — The town's police officer union this week posted a poignant video showing the exuberant personalities of the two Bristol police officers killed in an ambush Oct. 12.
Simsbury Police Union Local 458 posted via a social media post of the Bristol Police Department's hysterical "Lip Sync Challenge" video from a few years ago.
Featured in the video are several police department members, including fallen Bristol Police Lt. Dustin DeMonte and Sgt. Alex Hamzy, who were both murdered by a gunman last week.
Simsbury officers said the video represents a demonstration of "their fantastic service to the City of Bristol."

"Our union sends continued prayers to BPD and their family and friends," wrote the Simsbury police union.
The professionally done video was synced to the 1980s John Fogarty baseball-theme hit "Centerfield," which is a ballpark anthem.

It included several comedic scenes starring several Bristol police department members and used the department, the ESPN campus in Bristol and the Lake Compounce Amusement Park for some of the gags.
On Friday, DeMonte and Hamzy, who were both posthumously promoted this week, were honored at a massive funeral at Rentschler Field in East Hartford.
