Simsbury Police Give out Little Info as Probe into Millan's Death Continues
Did the killer know Millan? Police still don't know and suggest anyone running in the area have a partner.

At a news conference Thursday, Simsbury’s police chief said the killing of Melissa Millan on a town street Nov. 20 was done with something sharp and that investigators were questioning a lot of people about the homicide, the Hartford Courant reported.
The chief also suggested that anyone running in the area on Iron Horse Boulevard near the downtown area where Millan died, run with a partner, according to the report. Police have increased patrols in the area and are still asking that if anyone has more information about the death to call police.
But Police Chief Peter Ingvertsen didn’t have much other news about the violent death. The Courant reported Ingvertsen did not confirm or explain whether or not the attack was random and whether or not DNA of a possible perpetrator or perpetrators was found at the scene.

Millan divorced from her husband, former lawyer William Hodkin, in January 2012, and the couple shared custody of their 15- and 12-year-old children, according to the article, which also said the couple previously founded and ran the Farmington River Brewing Co.
