The session will be facilitated by Mike Jaillet of GovHR USA, a full service national public sector executive recruiting and consulting firm.

Simsbury residents, business community and town officials are encouraged to attend the session to express their thoughts and suggestions.

The event's aim is help ensure GovHR is able to properly market Simsbury, the town manager position and the community’s vision to potential candidates.

Currently, the town is looking to replace Maria Capriola, who left her job in the spring after being the town's first town manager following a charter change a few years ago.

The interim town manager is, currently, ex-Wethersfield Town Manager Lee Erdmann who replaced Simsbury Police Chief Nicholas Boulter, who filled in after Capriola left for an undisclosed reason.
