SIMSBURY, CT — Local residents who want to both help their town and play a role in how local officials/staff members serve the public have an opportunity to do so in Simsbury.

The Town of Simsbury is seeking volunteers who are unaffiliated voters in Simsbury to serve on the Simsbury Board of Ethics.

A town's ethics board is an advisory group dedicated to investigating complaints made against town officials and staff members.

Comprised of a bipartisan mix of individuals, the goal of a board of ethics is to make decisions to settle issues based on the town's charter and/or state statutes.
