Four New Simsbury Positions Have Been Filled
The new roles were created in the 2022-23 town budget, with police, the town and social services the beneficiaries.

SIMSBURY, CT — The town's first selectman this month officially welcomed four new town employees whose new positions were included in the approved 2022-23 budget.
Simsbury First Selectman Wendy Mackstutis this month announced that town, police and social services were the beneficiaries of the new staff members.
Those hired, according to Mackstutis, are:

• Frank Santino, who has begun work as the town’s new property appraiser.
He started with the town on Sept. 6 and he "comes to us with previous experience as a property inspector for a revaluation company as well as a real estate broker," Mackstutis wrote in her monthly report.

• Rob Lowell has been selected as the town’s new information technology support specialist.
He began work with the town on Aug. 31.
"Rob has experience in previous technology roles such as an IT engineer, IT specialist, and systems engineer," wrote Mackstutis. "He holds multiple certifications in the technology field."
• Christina Deltatto has been selected as the accreditation specialist for the Simsbury Police Department.
"She is a well-experienced, trained and respected public safety professional with over 30 years of experience. She has held roles as an assistant accreditation manager and accreditation manager for state and national (CALEA) accreditation since 1995," Mackstutis said.
Deltatto has worked for the department per diem since May 2022 and moved into this full-time position Sept. 6, the first selectman said.
• Erika Cleveland has been selected as the town’s new family and youth social worker.
Cleveland starts with the town on Monday, Oct. 3.
"She has a Bachelor’s degree from Central Connecticut State University in social work and a Master’s degree from Springfield College in social work," wrote Mackstutis. "Erika has experience working as a rehabilitation counselor, assessment counselor and other related positions."
