Simsbury's Harvest Bakery Cafe Has One of Best Breakfasts in CT, Magazine's Readers Say

Connecticut Magazine's "Readers' Choice Awards" this year judged Harvest Bakery Cafe as one of the two top breakfast spots in the state.

Harvest Cafe Bakery in Simsbury came in second-place for the best breakfast in the state, according to Connecticut Magazine’s “Readers’ Choice Awards” list.

The results of the magazine’s survey of its readers, published in the January issue, had several other restaurants near Simsbury winning awards for best in the state in various categories:

  • Avert Brasserie West Hartford was runner-up for ”Best French” cuisine (beat out only by the Union League Club in New Haven).
  • Max Burger of West Hartford has the “Best Burger,” according to the readers.
  • Barcelona in West Hartford came in second-place for “Best Appetizers.”
  • Ginza, in Bloomfield came in second-place for “Best Sushi”
