Storyteller’s Cottage to Host Vintage Halloween Masquerade Ball

Calling fans of all things spooky! The Storyteller’s Cottage in Simsbury, CT will host a Vintage Halloween Masquerade Ball on Saturday, October 27th from 8:00-11:00 pm. This is the perfect event for people who love vintage style, dressing up and all things haunted. On the night of the ball, guests will arrive to the vintage Victorian house to find that it has been transformed with haunted decor and spooky music. Those attending are encouraged to wear their fancy Halloween best for this swanky costume ball. Masquerade masks will be available upon arrival if guests do not already have them.

There will also be tarot card readings throughout the evening for a nominal extra charge, plus ghost stories by candlelight, perfectly creepy icebreaker games and board games (Ouija anyone?), and a fantastically spooky photo opportunity in the Victorian Steampunk Library.

Creepy themed hors d’oeuvres and soft drinks will be offered throughout the night, including delectable items such as witches brooms, bloodshot eyeballs, mysterious bandages, the “Bloody Shirley” mocktail, the “Dead Man’s Kiss” mocktail and much more. Guests may also BYOB.

Tickets are $40 just for the event, or $50 for the event ticket with tarot card reading. Ticket price includes admission to the event, candlelight ghost stories, games, themed hors d’oeuvres, soft drinks all while exploring a spooky Victorian house. This event is 21 and over please.
