Vigil Held Sunday for Melissa Millan, Killed Thursday in Simsbury
Melissa Millan, who died after being stabbed on Iron Horse Boulevard Thursday, was remembered Sunday by friends and family.

About 100 family and friends of Melissa Millan gathered in Farmington on Sunday for a vigil in memory of Melissa Millan, killed Thursday on Iron Horse Boulevard after she was stabbed in the chest, according to WFSB-TV.
At Dunning Lake at the Winding Trails recreation area, where family, friends and fellow runners talked about Millan, a runner and triathlete who enjoyed running past that spot in Farmington, according to a Hartford Courant article. At the end, a friend sang as others threw small stones into the lake.
Flowers have been placed on the spot where Millan was found at about 8 p.m. Thursday, WFSB-TV reported.

Simsbury police are asking that anyone who may have seen anything on Iron Horse Boulevard from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday to call police detectives at (860) 658-3145.
