2 Men Broke Into and Stole Numerous Items From Cars In Southbury
State Police released new details including the identity of the accuseds, who are both being held in lieu of a $70,000 bond.
SOUTHBURY, CT — Connecticut State Troopers and Southbury Police Officers arrested two Waterbury men following Southbury and Roxbury burglary and larceny investigation. On July 15, at 6:20 a.m., troopers responded to Southbury Road in Roxbury after a resident reported that two male suspects were rummaging through his vehicle in his driveway, however when seen, the two suspects fled in a silver sedan, State Police said.
As troopers and Southbury police officers responded to the area, the silver sedan was located and the suspects were stopped and detained, State Police said.
Through the course of the investigation, troopers learned numerous vehicles were broken into and items stolen after they found burglary tools, numerous credit cards, small electronics, fishing gear, driver’s licenses and women’s pocketbooks in the possession of the suspects. None of these items belonged to either suspect, State Police said.

The car break-ins occurred in the area of River Road, Falls Road, Southbury Road, and several other roads in Roxbury, along with Perkins Road, Brown Brook Road and several other roads in Southbury.
As troopers and officers continued their investigation, the two suspects were taken into custody and transported to Troop A.

Malachi Johnson, 20, of James Street was charged with Burglary 3rd Degree (6 counts), Larceny 5th Degree (4 counts), and Illegal Possession of a Credit Card (5 counts) and held on a total of $70,000.
Kayson Langhorn, 20, Plaza Avenue, Waterbury was charged with Burglary 3rd Degree (6 counts), Larceny 5th Degree (2 count), Larceny 6th Degree (3 counts) and Illegal Possession of a Credit Card (2 counts) and held on a total of $70,000.
