5k Run/Walk for Haiti this Saturday!

Tuesday, April 24th is the last day to pre-register for the Deacon Chuck Dietsch Memorial 5k Run/Walk for Haiti

Over 90% of the proceeds from this event will help fund the medical, food and educational needs of Haitians in Grand Boulage. Currently, the only medical service provided is a mobile unit that visits the town once a week. The mobile medical unit can only serve 40 people per day, and out of desperation, many of the villagers sleep in line overnight to ensure that they are seen by the physician.

This is an inexpensive and fun way to support a great cause and help a village that has so little. You still have time to sign up online! If you miss the online deadline, you can always register in person the day of the race!
